This is one of the most exciting Year groups in regards History. It covers World War One and World War Two, the years in between and looks at the Cold War.
Pupils are given a bit more freedom with their learning this year with projects, presentations and group work. The 20th Century is so full of change that every pupil finds at least several aspects (usually the blood and guts parts!) they really become engrossed in!
Though it must be remembered that its not ALL wars. We look at women getting the vote, the 'Unsinkable' Titanic, the first flight and other elements which made up the last century.
